Newborn sessions take place in the convenience of your own home.  Babies tend to be a lot more comfortable in familiar environments, which will result in those adorable, sleepy baby photos.  It is best to photograph newborns during the first few weeks of life, because they are more likely to sleep through positioning and moving.  Plus, you want to preserve their beautiful, itty-bitty features.  During each session, we will try 4-5 different indoor settings, and weather permitting might even try to get a couple of outdoor shots.  It is up to you whether you would like to include Mom, Dad, or siblings. 

Newborns don't need much to look cute and sweet.  You really only need diapers and a onesie, but if you have any props (knit caps, headbands, toys, etc) in mind, those are welcome!  Consider bringing a sentimental toy/blanket to be included in your session, or a favorite outfit.  Tutus are always adorable for little girls.  I have some props that may be used, just let me know what you are looking for so that we can discuss your hopes.
